1. 12 2. as far as i can remember there was no distinct cause that i could weed out 3. NO 4. NO 5. YES (once i became open with what was wrong with me . . for a while i just tried my best to hide it . . . but around age 15/16 they did know the extent of it --somewhat . . and did support me 6. YES. school, church, restaurants, malls, doctors appointments, dentist, etc . . . and almost anywhere else that i wasn't forced to go to or HAD to go to. 7. I wasn't given anything to relieve it. i just basically told my family and those close to me about how i would feel in certain situations and i would struggle day to day along with their help to get through every day. 8. I have dreams to overcome the panic attacks, so i can lead a completely normal life and not have trouble with school and with jobs and to continue my wonderful relationship with my boyfriend get married in the future, have kids, and be able to take care of myself well so that when i have a family of my own i don't have to worry about my panic attacks getting in the way of my life and taking care of my family. 9. Well i'm trying to stick by my dream of just becoming successful in my own life and being able to lead the life i want and be happy, and in doing so and trying to accomplish that dream, i believe it is helping me to learn to cope with my panic in hopes that one day i'll overcome it . . . because it makes me realize that i need to keep trying at it. 10. NO. because i know that there have been famous people that have come out saying they have anxiety or panic disorder . . . that's great, but i don't think it would inspire me or make me feel less alone. 11. YES. i had many things growing up and before my "first" panic attack that can be seen as symptoms of panic disorder.

What age did you have your first panic attack? About 15. What was the root cause(ie - fear of dying, loss of control, irrational thoughts?)? A fear of dying. When you were young, did you experience any traumatic events(before ten yrs old) such as death in the family, divorce, etc. No, nothing traumatic stands out. Were you abused?(if so, what kind) I was bullied. Did your family support you? Yes they did. Did you avoid situations? If so, what kind?(malls, school, etc) I avoided school. What were you given to relieve this?(Ie, Meds, therapy, etc) Nothing at the time. Do you have dreams?(ie- what to do something huge!) Yes I have many. I think this is why I fear death. I fear not being able to complete my aspirations. Did sticking by that dream help you overcome your panic? Yes it is helping. Would seeing someone in the Olympics, movie industry or whatnot that confessed they had Panic Disorder and suffered from Agoraphobia inspire you, and help you not feel so desolate- that there is a light at the end of the tunnel? Yes, and I think they’re real awesome using their platform for sharing such a thing. Looking back, did you show symptoms of the Panic disorder before you had the attacks, such as nervousness, abnormal worrying, insomnia, eatting trouble, unable to attend sleepovers as a child, etc..? Yes very much so. I was never a social child, due to abnormal worrying. I’m making up for that now though. :)

1. Age 28 2. Felt like I was dying, rapid heartbeat, dizzy, etc. I too like Ann, one month prior, gave birth to my second child (I still think, it was underlying condition that exploded with the horomonal change) 3. Parents divorced when I was 7 4. No 5. Yes to an extent, that after I was diagnosed, they thought it was something that I just could not think about , and it would go away. 6. Yes, but only after becoming agoraphobic, very fearful of driving, and really only trust my husband to drive, I get apprehensive if anyone else drives, since they have not witnessed my attacks. 7.Yes 8.Yes Xanax at first, until 5 yrs afterwards given Paxil along with it. 9.Yes 10.No 11.Already know some, Kim Basinger, Donny Osmond, some Football Player, Charles Darwin. Although I think it would take a current big name star, more than one, to come forward as they are diagnosed to take more of the stigma of this illness away to make me feel less desolate. 12. Yes I did tend to worry as a child, more seperation anxiety than others, but I still maintained going to sleepovers, school, etc. sorry I somehow got 12. I may have miscounted the questions and repeated myself somewhere 9.
