Glad to hear you're still around. Anything I can do to help? Have you been reading the Weaning off Chantix thread? How come you halfed the dose earlier than 12 weeks? Just curious. What are you doing to make it through the craves? And are you noticing any particular triggers? Either situational or time-related? I've noticed that for me, once I figure out why I am craving (I prefer the phrase "having an urge"), it lessens the impact of it, and I can better predict and be prepared for them. I keep reminding myself that each time I don't smoke when I have an urge, the next time I am in that situation it will not be as difficult, until finally I will not have the urge at all.

Glad to hear the last part of that phrase. And what do you mean you beat yourself up for not just quitting? You ARE just quitting! You haven't smoked, right? So, therefore you ARE quitting. No, you HAVE quit. Did you think it would be easy? I think how we look at it has an impact on how difficult or easy it is, but as I am sure you see here, everybody faces some challenges along the way. I agree with the folks who advocate looking at this quit as being a positive thing, something we want to do, not something we have to do, and we are not losing anything, we are gaining so much. What were your reasons, again?
Dexter has quit for 14 days! Awesome!!!!!
