Thank you Gina for your concern, and thank you for praying for me, I need it now more than ever. I had 3 enormous panic attacks today, in fact I am still shaky and sweaty from them, like exhausted but keyed up expecting them again tomm. My husband is furious with me after the horrible day he came home and yelled and screamed at me he thinks I can turn this on and off like a light switch, if only I could. I will pray tonight too Gina, I do not know how much longer I can live like this, its not fair to my family, I love my son very much and do not want him unhappy. Let me know how you are, I hope your good days are contiuning, God bless, Debbie.

I am sorry I forgot I did re-start the panic program that I started over a month ago Tululi, it has helped so many on this site, I should I continued it, my anxiety was so bad I could not concentrate. This time I will follow through. Debbie.

I am reading your responses late at night before I go to bed and I am glad I am. You have all given me hope that there is a future after panic, I am not happy all you have suffered with the dizziness, headaches etc....but it helped to hear that anxiety can cause this and there is not some horrible organic physical reason for this. Your info on Paxil Vickers was very helpful and informative, I did not realize they were the same thing, I thought the CR had less side effects, I guess these drug companies will do just about anything to make money, that is why I do not want to go to a high dose I know the withdrawal of 2 years ago and then I took Zoloft. I know I am a hypocondriac and it probably stems from my panic, Vickers I know you are not judging me, you have been wonderful to me and I agree with you they both go hand in hand, one seems to feed another doesn't it seem? Thank you so much Lynn, Gina, Tululi, Vickers and Lulu for your concern and good advice, I have a little hope now something I have lacked for awhile. God bless you all and thank you, Debbie.

Hi Debbie. I also believe the same thing as Vickers. So hang in there, it's just a bad moment to pass through! And again, I come back to CBT - have you tried the program on this site?

Hey Debbie! I took Paxil and Paxil CR. They are exactly the same. One is supposed to be not as addictive, but they are both addictive, they both have the same side effects and they both work the same way. The only reason they made CR is because Paxil was getting sued an awful lot and they wanted to cover their behinds by saying they were trying to make something less addictive. I read this in a couple different medical reports as well as three different media articles. Your symptoms could very well be side effects of the meds. I can guarantee you that headaches, dizziness, blurry vision, stiff muscles in the neck and shoulders, etc.... come from stress and anxiety also. You asked if anxiety can really do this to someone physically. Absolutely, positively, without a doubt in my mind - yes! Don't have an MRI. They are extremely expensive and insurance will only cover a small portion of it. If your catscan was normal, there is nothing there. You've seen many doctors lately and they have all had the same answers. Trust them. They go to school many, many, many years to learn these things. They are constantly studying and learning new techniques and procedures years after school is over. Trust them. This is what they do. They know what they are doing. You're not going to a neighbor and getting a diagnosis. You're going to a doctor - trust them. I know it's hard when your panic is making you believe things that aren't real, but it's ok to trust that if your doctor says there isn't anything wrong, then there just isn't anything wrong. As for your question about being a hypochondriac..... I only say this because I know exactly where you're coming from and I know exactly how you feel and I know exactly what your mind is telling you. Because I completely understand you, yes there is a level of hypochondria there. It is part of being a panicker. Being a panicker and being a hypo are basically one in the same. I have spent years and years being the same way and that's why I can tell you honestly that the answer to your question is yes. Please don't think I am judging you bying saying yes because I am not! I completely understand your way of thinking. I just want you to understand that this is anxiety causing the hypochondria and nothin

I went to the Doctors tonight {after years of avoiding them I have been to so many lately} we went over the catscan and he said everything looked negative which is good, the one thing that concerned was when the medical tech asked me if I had also recieved an MRI, of course that was what was worrying me but the DOctor said the Catscan is accurate and would pick up anything and if it did and MRI would have been done. He is not sure about the cause of my headaches, he thinks its the sore neck or Paxil, that what has been getting me so frustrated noone seems to know whats wrong! He prescribed muscle relaxants for the neck hoping that will relieve the 16 day headache and he changed the Paxil to Paxil CR, does the CR have less side effects?? I do not know if Tululi and Vickers were on the regular or CR?? He wants me to keep taking the Paxil he thinks its helping, it is lifting the sadness but umfortunatly the anxiety and panic are in full-swing, its been over 3 weeks I hope these horrible side effects go away and I start to get better, the nausea, dizziness and headaches have caused MORE panic for me, as if I needed any more. If I could ask everyone a question and you can be honest, a two-part question can anxiety cause all these symptoms I am having and am I a hypocondriac?? You can be honest, I would rather think I am a hypo than dying of a brain tumor or something, he did NOT x-ray the neck he did not want to expose me to more radation he said. I just want to put this behind me and feel better, I was so dizzy and naucous today I had to lay down for an hour because the room was spinning, has that ever happened to anyone and has it been anxiety? Thank you, God bless, Debbie.

debbie i think if there was any sign of a tumour it would of showed up when you got your eyes tested.i know this must be a terrible worry for you but iam sure it is just the anxiety causing all the added symptoms remember you have had a rough time the past few weeks and your nerves are very sensitzed at the moment.i think you really need to get your meds looked at again they maybe giving you all these terrible side effects.please try not to worry as that is only making the tension and headaches worse.hope you will feel better soon lynn
