Dear Debbie, Please reconsider seeking medical attention for your concerns. Help is available. Casey ______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Debbie, You may want to consider calling your OB/GYN. I don't know if you take iron or any supplements, but I'm sure bleeding for that long will make you weaker, even though the bleeding is probably coming from stress. Men think logically, they want to try to fix things, and some things they can fix, but being supportive to you in your time of need would be a tremendous help. Just remember anxiety will not hurt you, it makes you feel like you can't take it anymore, just try to relax and breathe correctly. Try not to freak out. Just call or go to your doctor, you do not have to go through this, there is help out there, if the paxil did help even with weight gain, it may be worth gaining a few pounds if it makes you feel better. The first time I took paxil I did gain quite a bit of weight, the second time I didn't gain any. Just be careful with what you eat. Please call your doctor and let him know what you are going though. Do you have any Xanax or Activan, that can be a big help while you are getting adjusted on your meds. You can get through this, you are stronger than what you think. Just say enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't give up until the doctor gets it right, even if it means changing doctors. Please let me know how you are doing. Becky

I think the four months of non-stop panic have finally taken did it. I am actually bleeding again, and that is increasing my panic so much, I started my monthly Tuesday and it left Friday, I was so relieved, last night I started bleeding again like a period! Did this ever happen to anyone? to stop for 2 days and then start up again?? I was alone and so scared, I have been panicking and crying for 4 days, I feel like I am having a nervous breakdown, should I be commited or something, the blood loss is weakning me and the fear or it is overwhelming, my husband and son and shunned and avoided me and I do not blame them I am a mess! I am not allowed to see my therapist or nurse anymore, my husband says the money is gone and they never helped anyway just made it worse. Why is the bleeding back? Is this normal, I hope it goes away. I am sitting her crying and shaking, I cannot go on one more day like this, my husband says I am not living that "I am dead already" is there any hope? Debbie.

Dear Debbie, I completely understand how you feel....but you have to remember what Becky said, God does not give us what we canot handle....stay with the medication -- I have been on Zoloft for more than a year now and am currently taking 200 mg a day....and also taking clonazepam....Like you my husband does not understand my anxiety/panic/depression/fears...Vickers4 suggested (to me, as my husband does not understand is not interested) to print out information from this website and sit with your husband and help him to understand you....I hope this helps... Take care...

I wish I could come to your home and hug you so you know you're not alone! Being the overprotective mother bear I am, if I came to your home, I would probably knock the people in your family that keep telling you such horrid things upside their heads though! ;p I am so sorry they make you feel so alone! Be patient with your son. He's just confused and probably doesn't know how to react. Be as loving and open with him as you possibly can. Give him tons of hugs and be extra reassuring with him. Let him know that you love him and that everything is ok - even though nothing feels ok. Children need lots of reassurance and love to get through something like this. Hang in there! You are stronger than you think!

Hang in there. I started back on Paxil two weeks ago and I'm already feeling better. The weight gain I had before isn't going to happen this time. I really did over eat when I was on it before. Lots of comfort food like icecream. I'm not doing that again. Some of us just have to be on meds, even if we don't like to be.

Hi Debbi Believe it or not, the body can actually take a lot of stress! I really thinkt the best thing for you now would be to see a new doctor. It seems like the ones you are seeing aren't helping you too much. I am sure your husband is just frustrated cuz he wants you to get better but is not sure how to help. And, you are not old and weak!!!!! You must keep going and trying o get better. I am doing the 12 weeks program. I am only on week one but I will let you know how it goes. Maybe give it a shot. Just focus on taking care of yoourself for now. Feel better.

Please don't give up. I know exactly how you feel; so worn out and depressed and so very scared and fearful. But you will come through this and you aren't alone. Your family doesn't understand and your husband is just frustrated which is why he gets angry with you but he should reassure you too as to what a lovely person you are, irrelevant of the anxiety. I bet you are a wonderful mother, don't let someone's cruel comments affect you, you are better than that. I lost my little girl because I thought I couldn't cope with her and my chronic anxiety, I thought I was an unfit mother and people told me that too. But they aren't worth bothering with; would they cope if they had what you and I have? I have loads of love to give and I reckon you have too. Continue with prayer and try the positive thinking. Look forward, remember just because one day is bad, it doesn't mean the next day will be. Despite the sensations, tell yourself today, right, I refuse to think about anxiety and these feelings for at least an hour. Give yourself a break if you can, curl up and watch the telly for distraction, read a book, do anything that might give you a little relief. Tell your husband you love him and you are trying really hard, that you haven't given up. Ask for different medication. Again, you are ahead of me, I am too frightened to take any, I'm agoraphobic so find it hard to get to the docs and ask for any! Read Claire Weeke's books, they are an inspiration and the section for partners and husbands can be shown to your husband. You are going to be okay, you are just exhausted by all this. Remember, you aren't alone and I really hope today is a better day for you.
