I just the other day had to drive to the Bay Area from Stockton, which is about a 2 hour drive 1 way so 4 hours round trip, and I used sugar free cinnamon gum but I also stopped twice as a "reward", got a (small) cup of coffee once (and ok, I admit it, I got a cookie at the 2nd stop).
I think we have to do little things very frequently and tell ourselves it's a reward, because so often we did use a smoke as a reward. And now we aren't taking that "addiction" break, so we have to re-frame breaks, too. (I'm fairly sure this would be BOTH content AND context re-framing, but Alohakeia may know more about that than I) ;)
