Actually, my smoking was an addiction to nicotine, I would presume, as I had been a smoker for so long. As I wrote on another thread, it seemed everything I did had a cigarette involved, even down to brushing my teeth at night. If that's not addiction, I don't know what is. Now, not smoking and having the emotional upset that I did, I couldn't figure out if craving a cigarette was somehow involved so I came here and asked. Believe me, I've been through highly emotional stuff in my life and I never gave smoking any credit for helping or hurting. I just smoked. Now I don't.
How do I get into the November monthly check-ins, Freedom? I think I really need some buddies. ;)
