Well, I've made it 10 days using chantix and I'm doing really well...not one puff in 10 days. But this afternoon, the voices are back for the strangest reason. My hubby and the kid's are gone tonight, so I'll be home alone to do whatever I want....and the voices are whispering that I can smoke and nobody will know!!! I hate those voices, the ones that talk you into things and make you loose your mind. So I'm devising a plan, thinking of things that I can do tonight, like read a book in my bedroom (never smoked in there), take a bath, watch a chick flick, and drink lot's of tea. Is the thrill of sneaking that makes smoking seem more romanticized, is it the thought of "being naughty" that is appealing to us type A personalities...whatever it is, I'll fight it off and will log on to the SSC if need be...I wish I had a virtual Red Ryder Beebee gun to knock off the voices and silence them forever!!!!!
