Tension may be a factor in this muscles weakness but it is best to consult your doctor as this is not a common withdrawal symptom.
Better be safe than sorry.

There could be some other cause as well, Kansas. Not everything we experience after we quit is caused by the quit. And sometimes smoking masked symptoms of other things.
If you are worried about anything, then checking it out with your doctor would be a good idea.
