What's wrong with my anxiety?

Weddings are not off topic at all. Reassure yourself that weddings can be very stressful and anxiety heightened for EVERYONE even if they don't have anxiety/panic disorder. Also, try your best to recognize your geniune excitement jitters seperately from your anxiety, so you can also enjoy the fun moments of planning too. My father gave me the best advice for my wedding I think. He said, "Do what you can to plan it how you want in the days leading up to it, BUT from your rehearsal on through the wedding day, don't think about ANY of your plans. So once the rehearsal starts, the planning is DONE & its yor time to enjoy all your work. Just remember that no day goes off perfectly so just go with whatever happens, the end result is you're still with the one your love & if you can do go with the flow, you'll remember that day fondly no matter what". Our day did not go "perfectly" according to the plans, but I honestly can't remember what was different from my plans, I loved every minute of it. Good Luck & enjoy YOUR day!

Samantha, Don't worry. Keep working through the program. As you anxiety levels decrease so will this incidence of random triggers. Danielle ____________________ The PC Support Team

Thanks Diva. I am glad I'm not the only one. When it makes me nervous in that moment I know it's stupid. I know that the tree is not going to come get me. It's so silly. How have you been? I have not been on in awhile. I have been doing lots of wedding stuff. 29 more days!! I hope everything has been going well. Off topic but oh well.

I think that tree thing is just due to anxiety. I used to get stuff like that too at random. Like once i was having a perfectly good evening and i started out of the blue being sure my cat was staring at me funny and i got all freaked out lol. At the time it was very traumatic, now i can laugh about it a little. Or another time, it was a shadow, it freaked me out so bad, a shadow of a tree i could see through the blinds. Often anxiety pops up in funny places. Take heart as you get to know your anxiety better theese things will get easier to deal with. -Diva

I have been feeling pretty good the past couple of weeks but random things are making me nervous. This is going to sound silly but the other night we were driving home and I was looking out the window(I wasnt driving) and this tree looked kind of weird and I got really nervous about it. My heart started beating real fast and I just sat there thinking "what is wrong with me? this stupid tree is making me nervous." Does that sound crazy or do you think my anxiety is just trying to show his ugly head? Other than that I feel okay. I have been having alot of problems with the disassociation but I am hoping to start going to a therapist and really get to the root of the problem. Okay I hav babbled about too much. Thanks guys and gals for listening.
