Thank you everyone for your uplifting encouraging words and prayers. It means so much to me. I am going to try to climb out of this hole I have fallen so deep into, if for no other reason for my son who needs me so. I will take the Klonopin with Paxil and just hope for the best that there is no interaction. Thank you again, God bless you all, Debbie.

Oh Debbie, I am so sad to hear your hurting so badly. Trust in the pharmacist advice (who went to school for 8 eights and who's job depends on what advice he gives out). Good for you for taking the paxil, I think that was a good and the right step for you to take right now. I know this is a very isolating feeling right now, like you think your dying, and no one cares. But the truth is your not dying and a lot of people care about you. Keep fighting back against this. Debbi, I will definitely pray for you!!! :) I want you to know that things ARE going to be okay!!! Don't listen to your mother in law about that medicine combination killing you. Pharmacists know what they are talking about, and here, I have done my own research just now on the internet for you! I found out that taking paxil and Klonopin together is a very common thing to do and it is NOT fatal! You will not die from taking these 2 drugs together! Know that all of us are experiencing a lot of the same things as you. You are not crazy, and you WILL get better! The fact that you have found us at this site is a great start too, and if you feel up to it, maybe you could check out the 12-week panic attack program on this site. I have just started it, and already I feel that it's helping me. It's helping me to know that what I'm going through is very common and everyone has "these crazy thoughts" like I do, and that alone is very helpful to me! DO NOT GIVE UP -- YOU WILL GET BETTER!!! :) :) :) About the Paxil: don't worry about the side effects that you are getting now that you have started taking it. Those are normal -- your body is adjusting to something new. If you find these symptoms continuing, getting worse, etc though, just make sure that you tell your doctor because then he can change your dose or put you on a different ssri drug instead (Paxil is an ssri, which I can explain later if you're interested). I was on Paxil about 3 years ago for about a year in total for panic attacks, and it REALLY helped me. It helped me to get back to being "me" again, and although I'd still sometimes have panic attacks, I was then able to face them as "normal me". Now I am experiencing panic attacks / anxiety again, and at first the doctor put me back on Paxil (I was happy!) and then he just switched me this weekend to Effexor because the Paxil didn't seem to be working as well this time for me (each person responds differently to each type of medicine and sometimes our bodies change so one medicine might not work the same for you as it did in the past, and also, if it works for me it might not work for you, etc, so there's a good change that the Paxil could help you and if not, no worries, your doctor can switch you to something else!) I have not posted in a few days. I fell into such a deepr depression I could not get out of bed and stop crying. The anxiety fear and panic got so bad my body broke down and its very frightning. I took the Paxil this morning, it made me a little dizzy and my stomach hurt, I have not slept more than 4 hours in 3 nights, I am so exhausted, I am afraid to go to sleep, I still have to take the klonpin and my Mother-in-law said it could be fatal {paxil and Klonopin} but the pharmist said alright. Taking the Paxil was a big step, I have hit rock bottom, if the paxil and klonopin combo kill me I guess its better than living like this, my husband said I have dragged down him and my son long enough. I so want to lay down and sleep but I am afraid, my chest hurts from smoking and not sleeping, I actually feel like I am dying, I have prayed so hard for relief, I hope I can find some soon because I am fading, this depression and non-stop crying was the final straw for my body. I hope the Paxil with the Klonopin does not hurt me, I so much want to get well because I cannot and will not continue to live like this, I cannot hurt my son and drag him down. It took alot for me to pick up the Paxil, its been a month since I got it, I knew I was in real trouble when I took that pill. Please pray for me. I am sorry to bother you.
