When I first had anxiety I had to take a leek every 20mins approx. Shhiit, this was probably the wors't feeling for me. Although, this is'nt a problem anymore. Now I've just got all the other baggage that comes with anxiety. Joshua, if you could keep me updated on how you are doing it would be much appreciated. I have never met another person who also claimed to have frquent urination associated with anxiety. Although, supposedly this is the result of the fight or flight response. When you get anxious, your body gears up for action. Your body wants to unload so that you are lighter, and therefore more efficient, for running (flight) or fighting.

HI Josh, Do not worry mate, I have the same symptoms. Panic attack can be very frightening if we have no understanding of what is going on, the following symptoms can occur during the experience: 1. Adrenal gland 2. Pupils dilate (hence blurred vision) 3. Mouth goes dry. 3. Neck and shoulder muscles tense 4. Breathing becomes faster and blood pressure rises. 5. Liver releases stored sugar to provide fuel for quick action (fight-or- flight) 6. Digestion sown down or ceases as blood is diverted away from the stomach 7. the body cools itself by perspiring 8. Muscles at opening of anus and bladder are relaxed ( and hence frequent urinating is normal) ( PLease remember and repeat: Panic attack has never harmed anyone and cannot harm me - you may feel you would faint; you may say "oh I am having a heart attack", but nothing of the sort will happen Where to begin: I believe the first step is for you to understand what you are going through, to understand the symptoms and why they occur. Then you find your way through, It is a harsh reality, but live can be exiting too, it is worth fighting for, here is some wise words from Che Guevara, the revolutionist who had asthma: "Fighting for every breath, I have to tell death: Fcuck off" We will tell the same to panics ;) Love & peace

Dear Joshua, I am so sorry about the troubles you are having I am praying for you to find the peace and comfort you so much need. Your girlfriend I hope comes back, its hard for people who do not suffer from anxiety and panic to understand, still she should not of left you and I will pray she returns and is strong for you, the Lexapro will probably kick in very soon, I have suffered from panic and anxiety on and off for about 5 years and I do understand, also I have bad health-anxiety, please let us know about your medical tests. Awwwwww, I am so sorry about what your going through hun! Yes, you are having severe anxiety and I suffered the same thing one time when a boyfriend left me. It is devastating. But if she is unsupportive, she isnt what you need anyway. Once you are feeling better, you will see that. I alos get very anxious when I think I am sick but that is normal for anyone. Please stop in whenever you need to and post......we are here for you. Try to relax and give the meds time to work. AND try to eat something or drink milk, a shake or veggie drink cause if you get weak, you will feel worse! Good luck and thinking of you.
