Dizzy at the Mall

Thank you for your comments. It does help to know other people have these symptoms but it seems so frightening at the time. I really feel like I am going to keel over.I wonder when these feelings will stop (if ever). Do any of you take any meds? I take xanax but I try not to at times thinking maybe it will just go away.I hope we all get rid of this awful disease!

Dear Karen, I have had panic attack in mall like you sometimes in a year ago. It's very common symptoms because we tend to feel embarrassed if we fainted in the crowd. but it's all our imagination. Watch your thoughts and you will find that thoughts seemed so real but they are just our thoughts. Accept the thoughts will help you realise how powerful yr mind is. And, sooner or latter your mind calm down and your fear will fade away. Trust me.

Yep! A year ago I was living at my mom's with my husband and 2 kids while our house was being built (stressful time). I was rushing around at different malls all day and I had a really bad heart fluttering and almost past out. Was SUPER upset. Thought I was going to drop dead every second for weeks after that. Finally saw the doctor to get my "hit" (cause it's like a drug) of reassurance from my doctor. Been fine since then. Didn't go to that mall for 8 months. So weak of me! Go back and conquer! :eg: It is no fun being help hostage by your brain!

I was at the mall on Wednesday with my hubby. All of a sudden I felt really out of it and felt a faint coming on. I have a lot of stress in my life now my mom has uterine cancer my best friends mom just passed unexpectally and my dad was in a car accident . (Had to rush to Florida thank goodness he will be alright) Anyway I became all clammy and just felt so scared.I felt like I couldn't move from the spot . My husband made me sit and get me some food and I took a xanax . In about a half hour I started feeling better. Now I have a fear of this happening again when I go to the mall. Is this normal? Any of you ever feel this way? I hate this and wish I could be like I used to be. Thanks for listening to me vent. This site is a lifesaver knowing other people are in this boat.
