Recent health problems need me to quit!

Hi Sparkie63,
Cutting back on your smoking is good, but some people find it harder to do that than to actually quit. It sounds like you have some good motivation to help you quit, and sorry to hear about your motivations. Why did we ever take up smoking in the first place? We were nuts, that's  for sure. I wish you the best on your quit journey. Try and do a lot of reading in here, there is some great information that can and will help you along your path to freedom from the addiction.
Stay strong.

Hi all, I recently have been told about some problems I am having that require me to stop smoking. I had a ruptured brain aneurysm in June 2018, I found out I also have PAD (peripheral artery disease). I also need back lumbar surgery for many reasons but the doctor will not do unless I quit smoking. I hope this site will help me. I was smoking 1-1/2 packs a day. Am down to 9 cigarettes at the moment.
