I'm freaking!

Thanks you guys - I am feeling better. It's so hard dealing with this sometimes! I am always checking my heart rate even though I logically know that the heart rate changes naturally all day long. I've got to stop doing that to myself! I'm working on it but I am so grateful you are all here when it gets to me! I wish I could hug everyone of you! ;) (((Gina))) I feel my heart beat in the bottom of my feet, too. It's like I'm so aware of it that I can feel it in different parts of my body all the time! Just wanted to let you know you're not the only one that feels the pulse in your feet. Thanks again you guys!

The last few months I have had the same thing happen. If I eat to many carbs or something sweet all of a sudden my heart will just take off shortly afterwards. Which, then of course, I panic. Then for days I have the fear that it will do it again, which makes me panic also. In my opinion it is the sugar. I just wanted to let you know that the same thing happens to me. It is very scarey and it freaks me out also. I try not eat heavy meals now and watch my sugar intake. Try not to freak, I think eating more slowly and smaller portions does help. Becky

I have been doing pretty good lately keeping my anxiety to a fairly doable level. Last night, I was sitting around watching a movie with my boys and we were having ice cream sundaes. I'm sure it was just the sugar, but my heart started racing. I stayed and finished watching the movie even though I just wanted to run upstairs and go to bed. I got through it although it was very tough. Today, I have been anxious off an on but right now, I feel like I am freaking! My heart is beating really fast and I know it's just anxiety but I can't seem to calm down! I guess I just need some encouragement. I don't know why I'm feeling so anxious and panicky right now. I'm just sitting here relaxing, trying to enjoy the weekend. Do you ever notice your heart racing when you're just sitting around not really doing anything and trying to relax? I wish I could just relax and feel normal again!
