Yes. I take 25mg a day of Lexapro. It is almost some mornings I feel like I have arthritis!!! I also found that there was a period that I came off the medication (a year ago) and the body ache pain went away. As soon as I got back on it, the aches started up again. Just like you said, like a general body/muscle ache in parts of your body. Some days are okay, but I do have it most of the time!

I am so happy to hear someone else has these side effects. I was driving myself crazy. I was thinking horrible thoughs like bone cancer, or some kind of muscle disease because my doctor too had no reason to think it was the medication. Do you also take Lexpro if so how many mg do you take a day. Thank you so much for your response to my post it makes me feel a little better to know I am not the only one. One more question do you find the pains are worse when you wake up in the morning.
You have no idea how HAPPY I am to hear you say this!!!!!!! I have researched ALL OVER the internet for this as a side effect and can not find it. I ask people I know that are on it if they have this and they all tell me no. I thought I was some sort of weirdo!!
YES YES and YES! I do have those body aches. A lot of joint pain and It is exactly as you describe!!!!! That is so wild you said that. Even my own doctor was thinking "hmmmmmmm" when I told her about it!!!!!
I was wondering if anyone is on the medication Lexpro?
I have been on it for about 2 months and I find it helping with the panic attacks but I have been having body aches ever since I started. It is hard to explain the type of pain I guess you could compare it to the way your body aches when you get the flu. It is mainly in my arms and upper back. I consolted my doctor about it and he said he didn't beleive it would be from the medication. Has any one has this type of side effect from medication?
