I do believe that the symptom you are experiencing is quite common. I do not believe that it is your blood pressure, but it may very well be the autonomic nervous reaction. Those whose face, neck chest get red when stressed or embarassed or nervous is quite normal. We all had different ways of reacting to stressful situations and this may just be your way.

I don't think it has anything to do with blood pressure. My face and neck don't get red but my ears do sometimes. Especially if I drink any alcohol. Maybe it has to do with the excitement or something.
