Anita Sometimes a simple explanation is the best medicine, when you understand it takes away the worry. Knowledge is power right? Anyway just wanted to let you know the most powerful "tool" I have found is the book "Hope and Help For Your Nerves" by Claire Weekes. I also journal everyday everything I am thinking and feeling. Sometimes I dont journal until I get ready for bed, but I have found that keeping a journal has helped me get disturbing thoughts out of my head, identify my panic triggers, gives me an outline of things to discuss with my therapist (helps you to see if there is a pattern, like I always got real anxious and had alot of PAs cause we never seem to have enough money to pay our bills every month) but until I kept a journal I never realized that my most panic attacks happened when bills were due or overdue! Just suggestions that might help you relieve some stress in your day. Taking time to meditate and do breath exercises is very helpful too! take care

Thanks to all of you , you seem very caring and compassionate as opposit as my husband, your explanation CRYSTALD seems scientific and made sense to me I think my poor sleeping habits contribute a lot to that problem. I have 2 kids(5yrs, and 1 yr old)I go through hell with them all day so at night I feel like it is my own time and don't go early to bed so I think that I lack some proper sleep. for CBT I am on a waiting list to see a therapist I cannot afford to pay one sooo.. thank you very much anyway.

Hi Anita Auditory nerves, oversensitized by fatigue play tricks on your senses. I am very worried that it could be a tumor pressing from the inside. Negative thoughts like this increase your anxiety and pumps more adrenalin into your system making you more anxious and panicky. Anita you need to calm yourself and know that your fears are not real, they are just thoughts that are making you afraid. Meds are great and they help alot of people, but I would suggest you look for a therapist, someone who does CBT so you can get out of the panic cycle. Take care

thank you for your responses, does the pressure get worse when you stand up or do something physical? it does for me I feel like something flows in my head for few seconds and make it pressurised what could it be? I know it is not my blood pressure cause I have checked it and it was fine.

Hi Anita: I get this too. The head pressure for me is worrisome too, but I had an MRI in October, so I just gotta believe it's all anxiety 'cause that's what my doctor tells me. Still we worry about it.

Hey Anita I have the exact same symtoms that your talking about, its nothing to worry about just another symtom of anxiety. When you have anxiety and your mind is on other things your hearing is some how disturbed. Probably because your ability to focus and focus on what people are saying to you is gone. Hope this message helps you a little. talk to you later. Take care.

Is any one sensitive to noise????/, with my anxiety I feel most of the time like having hearing problems, feels my head heavy and like a pressure in it I am very worried that it could be a tumor pressing from the inside. Please let me know if this does relate to you. I don't know if it is to do with the Lexapro I'm taking?? or simply something else? I do yawn a lot and I feel like it is disturbing my hearing, well it is quiet hard to explain, anyway.. if you think this sound familiar, please let me know..
