Tresa,

I think you know that this old horse has had problems with his gnashers due to smoking-related gum disease.
I'm delighted to say though, after 2.5 years quit and some help from the dentist, my problems might be behind me!

all the best

I was a dental assistant and saw alot of teeth and boneloss due to smoking including mine, i was always in the chair myself, smoking cuts off blood flow to the gums, and oral cancer is awful and sometimes have to have parts of the mouth and cheek removed along with the cancer, Smoking is nasty and very bad for our health  :( Tresa

One very serious condition that often goes un-mentioned is that of oral cancer. Smoking increases a number of other oral diseases as well. It’s said that approximately one half of periodontists cases are attributed to current or former smokers.
