"Whoosing, Cancer and Tumors"

Debbie: There are bad doctors and doctors that do not understand some conditions, but there are also good doctors. It took me several tries to find a doctor that could help me, but it made life much better when I found him. If your insurance will cover it some counseling may be helpful too. There are professionals out there that can help you. Don't be discouraged and keep looking. Good luck and best wishes.

I want to thank everyone for their replies. I feel a little bit better today, the whoosing sound seems better since I peroxided and cleaned my ears out, and the nausea has eased up, I am still headachy and a little dizzy but trying to hold up, the weather has been very cold damp and rainy here and I think it may contribute to my headaches. The spotting has not come back which I am grateful for, I called a GYN today but have not heard back yet, she is a woman and I would feel more comfortable. I think I am starting perimenopause and my PMS symptoms are starting to worsen, they have always been bad. The last Dr. I saw wrote me a letter saying I was not to see him anymore and to find a new physician, it hurt me very badly, my nurse-practioner said male Doctors cannot handle the anxiety and panic, but still I felt SO betrayed, here I came to him for help and he "threw me to the wolves" so to speak and it has made me very Doctor-phobic, I will try to muster the courage to go, but it will be very hard! Thanks for any help. Debbie.

Debbie, As uncomfortable as it may be for you. It is important that you make a visit to your family physician. If you feel this worried about your symptoms, I strongly suggest that you seek medical attention. A physician will assist your needs and appropriately answer the questions you may have. Please let keep us posted. Take Care, Melanie _____________________________ The Panic Center Support Team Edited on 3/9/2005 @ 10:49:29 AM by The Support Team

Hi Debbi, I have the ear problem and the headache and the doctor said is stress related, DON'T WORRY I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS I am 30 I don't think it is to do with pre-menopause I've had it for a while now it just comes and goes sometimes it is worse when I bend forward I used to worry a lot about it but not any more it is just there I don't pay to much attention to it I know it is very common in anxiety I once read that it is a wrong brain signal in relation to the fight or flight responses. I suggest you see two doctors for different opinion but I am sure they will say the same good luck

Hi, For the past week I have been having severe headaches, whoosing in my ear {like a washing machine} its driving me crazy. I also have had dizziness and nausea, my nurse-practioner feels its stress, but of course I feel its a tumor or something. I also am 43 and feel like my body is changing, could these symptoms be "pre-menopause" I believe they call it perimenopause. I also had some spotting after relations with my husband and then I worry about cervical cancer. I am scared to go to a GYN or ear Doctor, Doctor's have been horrific to me and never help me. I am hoping some of the girls will tell me that these are hormonal related, I feel so terrible and tired all the time, like I am dying then I start to panic and have extreme anxiety! My friend says I pay too much attention to my body, but its hard not too with all this going on, I so want to feel healthy and well not like a 90 year old woman ready to die! Can stress do this, I think with the ear its just fluid, but on the internet it says tumor of the ear! I have to stay off those scary sights. If anyone else has suffered these symptoms I would be very happy to hear from you please. The Zoloft is not helping and the Klonopin works better. I am so afraid I have a tumor or cancer. Thanks, Debbie.
