HI Brian I would listen to Anita because I know my doctor says there is a high link between depression & anxiety & there are some really good medications out there to make you feel better. I have headaches (that stem from tense muscles in my neck - so much so that on one side you can actually feel a hard lump {which of course scares me, but it's muscle contracting} which my doctor put me on a very low dose of amitriptyline only about 2x's a week. It helps my headaches, but I am actually not depressed (but like I say, most people are and don't realize it with the anxiety) so I personally find the next day after I take it in the PM, I am very tired. I just wanted to say that I get the cramping too. My doctor said to try to get more calcium because anxious people tend to not eat well or, like me, don't really feel like eating. Mine were off & on for about 3 weeks, with pins & needles, but the last couples days has been better. They say there are many faces to anxiety - that's what makes it so frustrating. You finally get a set of symptoms "under control" (even just mentally), then you get a whole new set later on. It's just the nature of the beast. I think this is why so many have been at our doctor's offices so much (& it's good to get things checked out!). Wish you well

Hi Brian, I got his fatigue, I felt so achy and exhausted that all I could think of was A CANCER... of course the results showed nothing like that. my doctor told me that I was physically depressed. I was reluctant to take antidepressant but I felt so bad and the doctor convinced me that they will take a while to work and that was absolutely true, after 6 weeks of taking escitalopram 10mg I can tell you that I feel much better and have more energy. so my advice to you is if you think that the fatigue is taking over don't hesitate to take medication they are there for that purpose/?????

Hi Brian, Welcome to the site. You will see that this is a great place to share your feelings of panic and anxiety. Fellow members here truly understand these symptoms. Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When youre finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
