Just wanted to let you guys know what happened. Last night i was absolutely terrified. I pretty much was about to cry myself to sleep. This morning i was thinking about just calling and cancelling the whole thing, but then i said to myself " idiot, this is a huge opportunity for you, dont let these attacks run your life." So i got dressed and got in the car, was really nervous. I was pretty much ok til i got past the exit thats kinda where my comfort zone stops. I had some chest discomfort, but i just kept talking to myself and trying to concentrate on other things. Needless to say, i made it there without pulling over and without any major attacks. And the ride home was completely fine!!!!! Once i got home is when my chest really started to hurt.. LoL. I think the anticipitory anxiety is worse than the actual thing. So for all of you reading this and saying "yay for her, but i could never do that," you can. I didnt think i could either, but it feels so good when you do and you're actually successful. Challenge yourself and you might just be surprised. Dont let this thing win. You have the power over it, dont let it have the power over you.

Hi dee If you cant get anyone to go with you to the interview maybe take along a cd player or walkman with a relation tape in it just to help take the edge off. I have to use that alot to get out and about sometimes. You can also try to say "SO what if" to all those what ifs, write it down and analyze it or do it in your head. Believe in yourself and good luck!

Hi dee, This is a wonderful opportunity for you! We wish you the best of luck tomorrow. You can do it! Is it possible there is a good friend or family member that you trust, who may be available to help you through this? If not, try to stay strong and use your coping mechanisms. You know how hard you have worked and how much you want this. Let this determination give you strength. Please be sure to let us know how everything goes! Hey guys. I havent been around in a while, and i've actually been doing pretty well. However, I'm terrified about tomorrow. I have a job interview (for an actual real job using my college degree!).... but it's not the interview that scares me, it's getting there that's freaking me out. It's about 45 minutes away from my house (about 30 miles). I never drive that far alone. Lately the only time i get attacks is when I'm driving, so to say the least, im terrified that i'm gonna get an attack. I could just not go to the interview, but this is a HUGE opportunity for me. HELP!! :confuse:
