hey garace, i know exactly what you're going thru!! i was ready to go to the er this morning because i thought i was having a heart attack. my husband said honey come on your only 35 yrs. old!! i too have been thru all the tests from the cardiologist, echogram, halter monitor- the only one i have not been thru is a stress test & i'm ready to have that done next, to help put my mind at ease. i can just be laying there watching tv & my heart will start racing for no reason!! i am pretty healthy, other than i smoke, but the crdio dr. told me i have no risks other than smoking, but when i tried to quit a couple mos. ago, my anxiety level tripled. all i can tell you is to hang in there, sooner or later it has to get better!! keep sharing your thoughts with all of us, i found that has helped me.

Hey sweetie, Mt last 2 panic attacks were different than the past. I called my Dr and went to ER because it felt like Heart Attack. I was checked over and ER doc "upped" my Trazadone by one more tablet/day. My Dr agreed and wrote a new Rx. I don't know what the answer is, other than ride them out. Remember to use your Panic Diary and log all of your attacks. Della

I am so frustrated. This has been a difficult week with panic and I find myself constantly on edge. My panic attacks are always just like the typical heart issue (attack) symptoms. I know I am not at high risk. I am a 34 year old mom in general good health. I have actually done the panic prone person thing and seen a cardiologist and all checked out just fine. My panic attacks are just like the symtoms of a heart attack. Chest pain, rapid heart beat, ache in my arm and shoulder and the pain between my shoulder blades is awful. You can't look up Chest Pain on the Internet because then you are totally convinced it is heart attack related. My brain wants to scream :THEY MISSED SOMETHING: but somewhere in that dark space my self says "chill out, its okay". If it were leg pain, arm pain, head pain....I may be okay but I just can not stand these rapid heart beats, the chest pain and the hard to catch my breath feelings. Sometimes it just happens even at the point of relaxing or just hanging out and it freaks me so bad it turns into a full blown panic attack and I am grabbing for the Xanax. I just can't comprehend WHY I have this, and how I can ever get rid of it. You know, I don't even remember what it was like to not have panic/anxiety anymore. Pity party. Feel free to join me. :8o:
