Kristulu, as Sue and Sparky have said... it gets better, and relatively quickly.
My worst craving of the day, in the beginning, was after work. The morning wasn't terrible, not even after eating was all that bad... but after work... that was a big challenge.
I would race home and crank up the computer... and head right to SSC to talk, to read... to seek motivation and inspiration. And I guess I found what I needed, because here I am 309 days later... still smoke-free... and 95% of the time... it's a piece of cake. And the other 5%? It's not bad at all. It's a walk in the park compared to any of the cravings I had in the first while after quitting.
But, I had 'em... just as you do know. And, like you, I had to get through them in order to get to where I am today.
Shut the door. Make peace with the knowledge that there's no going back. As soon as you do that... it'll get easier.
Congratulations, Kristilu. You're not a slave today, and you never have to be again.
