tubbies,
We all know what you are going through. Even searching for the cheaper cigs is part of the quitting journey. As is, switching to lights, or a brand that advertises "no additives", or only allowing ourselves 10 a day, or only smoking on the weekends, or at night. These are all deceptions that the addiction leads us on with. You know the bottom line. Smoking is a horrible addiction that is linked to many, many fatal illnesses. They are extremely expensive; they make us smell bad, they CAUSE (instead of relieve) anxiety. The list of negative impact on our lives goes on and on. Do what you need to do to stay smoke free. Take a nap, or a hot bath, or go for a walk, or cry. Take some deep breaths and use some positive self talk. Be proud of yourself for those 4 fabulous smoke free days. Think about and heed what Sparky has shared with you. It is the truth. My thoughts are with you. It may not seem like it at times, but, you can quit smoking.
