Wazz, we have all been there & somehow it doesn't seem at all disgusting at the time. It seems like the most normal thing in the world. Awesome for you for making it through & smacking the junkie down. It will start to get easier soon & you will start to see some of the benefits, too, I promise. For now, just keep hanging in, reward yourself for that little victory. You're doing it, just keep doing it. Wazz, Way to go to fight the urge like that! Expect to face some more strong cravings but next time try to prepare yourself a little more and have a plan ready for when they do come. Become familiar with your triggers and create a coping plan so you know how to react. It may even be as simple as having a big bottle of water with you always, or chewing gum or getting out for a walk. Brenna, Bilingual Support Specialist

Wow its almost the end of day 3 for me. I am going to be honest here as discusting as it is. My friend stopped by and after talking with him for about 20 mins and telling him I quit I wanted to ask him for a cigg. After he left I wanted one so bad I thought about looking around outside for an old cigg I may have tossed. Thats really sad. Well I didnt do it although I did get as far as opening the back door. Now thats a bad craving dam hope I dont get alot like that. That sure was almost overpowering but somehow I got threw it. In less than 6 hrs it will be day 4 for me. Tomorrow I am doing to the Gym to start working out with my nephew 25 yrs my junior. I hope that also helps curve some of the cravings. Well thx for listening. ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/2/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 66 Amount Saved: $17.82 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 12 Mins: 52 Seconds: 39
