All better now! Stress test results were all nornal and the imaging results were normal as well. Follow up suggestion was just if the chest pains continue. Thanks for listening!

No need to reply to this post as something will change soon. Had a Cardioligist referral a little over a week ago as part of a full physical. At the time, my Dr. stated she didn't think I needed it, but thought I should so I could let go of the anxiety surrounding my chest pains. The Cardiologist said he would get the results to my regular Dr. in a week to 10 days. Well yesterday was 8 days, so I thought I would check in with my Dr. to see if she had the results. Murphy's law, the results were in, but she was out of the office and unable to review them. The nurse said she would call me back today. Murphy's law part two, I missed the call shortly after 1pm, and the message said my Dr. is back in the office and reviewed the results. Everything appeared normal and suggested a follow up visit to the Cardiologist. Then ended with changing the anti-inflamatory I was taking for chest pains (Vioxx) to something else as obviously Vioxx is off the market. Murphy's law part 3 is I can't call back to clarify until 2:30 when the office opens back up from lunch. The wait is driving me crazy! 26 minutes to go. Just getting worked up because if everything is normal, why the follow up suggestion? If something is wrong, why tell me everything is normal? Thanks for letting me vent. Didn't think there would be much time for replies, but feel a little better just getting it off my chest. (Nice pun eh?)
