I was doing just fine until my cat, my companion of 20 years passed away. Just think, he lived with me 19 hard smoking years! I did not have a cig. I wanted one. The craving washed over me like a tsunami. That was a week or more ago. I'm waiting for the craving to pass, still waiting. 24 hours a day, no let up, no cigarettes, no smoking, no peace.
Sometimes I look in the mirror and say "why don't you just give it up already". In three months I'll be one year smoke free. It could be yesterday.
