I think that most people will think you are cute and sweet when you blush, even though you may not feel that way.
My mum blushes at the drop of a hat (always has) and is often embarassed by it. But she tries to remember that most people find it endearing and that seems to help her. She has panic disorder to, but hers is well controlled (yay for mum!)
Sarah :)
I have just searched the internet more about fear of blushing, and they said basically that medication and some kinds of cognitive therapy can help, but only if the cognitive therapy is carried out in the imagination; because basically you are not around the people who make you blush enough to really practise it enought to make it work in most cases. Also, they said that most people with this problem will never totally get over it, so they just have to learn to deal with it. It is very very difficult. Medications have helped me a lot but I cannot imagine ever going without them again....at least of some type. Also, all the other psychological treatments usually used do not successfully address this particular problem. So...I just wanted to pass on what I learned, and see if anyone wanted to talk about it. I know now that most people that use this sight do not have this problem, but there are some of us out there. What do you think?
