Hi Disneyfan, Sorry to hear you're having a tough time. I am 9 days smoke free and I've had a few bad days where the craves lasted for hours...it's TERRIBLE! Just remember that you aren't alone, we're all in this together My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 153 Amount Saved: $37.80 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 20 Mins: 45 Seconds: 17

Disney, I sure know how you feel, as we all do as we have all had those days! My worst day was my 43rd day go figure, I sure couldn't, before that as you said wasn't bad at all but boy out of the blue wham slap in the whole body, was sooo bad, went to bed early and next day was so much better, so far getting better each day, for now just really sit back and enjoy the great ones as it does help when the bad ones come just focus on the great days and youknow they will come again, just so hard to be strong but I know you can! Keep the faith baby! hugs and prayers, Bobbi My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/27/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 51 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,530 Amount Saved: $127.50 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 11 Mins: 5 Seconds: 31

Hey Disney, try deep breathing, several long, slow, deep, breaths, it does help a person relax, and does help with the cravings. And you could try a mantra with that ... "I am a non smoker!" with each breath out! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 72 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,800 Amount Saved: $759.60 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 21 Mins: 37 Seconds: 35

disney, You are doing an amazing job and you should give yourself a break! Use relaxation techniques to ease that extra stress off. Go for a walk or exercise. Take the time to organize yourself and make lists for day to day duties. Take it step by step and you will fair well :) Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.

Please just hang in there. I know exactly what you are feeling and it is not fun. This about the time I would loose my quit, look at my stats. Starting over at day one is not fun. I was never strong enough to get though what you are going through. There are many here that have and have the stats to show for it. My motto with this quit is "Give three good reasons to smoke and I will join you." I have to say this to a non-smoker (buddy) before I smoke. You know it stops me right in my tracks. It is so not worth it, but you know that already. You will be fine, I know it!!! I am 33 days into my quit, my first 3 weeks were a breeze . but going into my 5th week i will rip someone;s head off if they look at me the wrong way. lol my stress level has peeked over the edge my insdes want to crawl out of my body. this is only when i feel stress. i am still trying to figure out how to handle stress. like bills, family, day to day stress. walking away is not always an option, talking about it with hubby is ok somewhat then his stress goes up so i stay quite most times. he supports my quit. friends are comming around so i am happy about that. when i am stressed i think about smokes for hours til i can calm down or get my thoughts on elsewhere. but it is getting my thoughts away from smokes cause i am going nutty. i will not smoke i promise me that. but at times i want a drag or two will help. but hubby said a smart thing today, he said that is like if your a crack addict recovering and you take a hit or two it will lead to more. smart man i married lol that stopped me from thinking about smoking. amen. thanks for listening and reading.
