JQ5555, I'm seeing a lot of posts where that ole demon pounces at any time and it doesn't seem to matter how far a long in your quit you are. He seems to wait until your guard is down, huh? At least that's what I've been reading on posts.
I think we should just keep those beginning tools that we've used with us from now on. ha ha ha ha I'm laughing but I'm serious too. I think we should stay armed at all times.
Sleep well and if you're still having that crave when you wake, post, post, post and read, read, read. We're right here for you.

JQ555,
Sounds like you are heading in the right direction on becoming a successful quitter :). The most common questions when quitting smoking is dealing with withdrawal symptoms. Each smoker has different withdrawal symptoms indeed yours will be unique! Although they may be unpleasant, they do pass. When you experience withdrawal symptoms, remind yourself that each symptom is a sign of recovery. Your body is in the process of healing itself. Think of withdrawal symptoms as growing pains.
Quitting smoking is not easy and that is why we are here! We are here to help you learn on how to quit smoking and be successful. You can do this! Keep us posted and be sure to jump back on the site to let us know how you have coped with your cravings.
Congrats to you for being 92 days smoke-free! Have a great day..it is cold here in Canada..brrrr!!
Melanie

been doing fine lately - hardly think about it - go about my life in a healthy positive way - a non smoker.....and then there was today out of nowhere - the longest continuous craving dragging me down. Fortunately the closest I got was thinking about pulling into a gas station buying a pack and lighting one up. Talked myself out of that one quick - but this crave has been constant all day. Am now in bed - popped a sleep pill and hopefully when i wake it'll be gone - hopefully - i did not think it would come at me like this after so long, and so hard.
so i survived and kicked its ass again - but i will be aware its out there ready to pounce - good luck with your deomns all
