little,
Keep yourself prepared and you will fair well. As you can see this is normal and will dwindle with time. Be ready and call if you need us :)

Little J's Mom,
Oh yes, there are slumps and they are so dead gum annoying and frustrating.
I hit a 30, 50, 60, and a bit of a slump even on my 70 Day milestone. I figure I'll hit some more too. Sometimes I think that nicodemon sees that we've gotten over the physical addiction so he attacks the psychologial addiction full force and at all of these different intervals. The good thing is, they don't last that long and you can feel that demon losing his grip until he eventually loses it all together. Each time I hit a slump, I pull out all of the coping skills I used from the very beginning of my quit only now I'm having to busy myself more now that spring has sprung.
Hang in there. This one will pass too.
Stay Strong,
Tutti

Phil, with my luck, that singing bird usually ends up crapping all over me!
little J's mom, yes, there's DEFINITELY a 90-100 day pit... but the good news is that it does go away and it really is one of the nicodemon's last stands for many people. And after you pass through this rough period, it does get a lot better. Eventually, smoking will be nothing more than a faint memory! But you have to go through the jungle to get to the other side... luckily, you're almost there!
Crave the Quit!
Pam

Any old day you can find a pit mate...
But also look hard enough and you will find a rainbow!
Listen and you will hear a bird singing!!!

There does seem to be for some people. I tried to express this in a post called the Plateau, which I'll bump for you.
You say ' I don't feel in any danger of blowing my quit but I have to say I find it really dang annoying to be thinking of cigarettes so often again all of a sudden!'
This phase will pass and gradually you'll stop thinking about cigarettes altogether.

I think my 90 day pit started sometime in the 80's and it ended in the early 100's. At some point the excitement of the quit wore off and I had the 90 day blues too. Better days ahead (Although I think we're still allowed to have bad ones now and then no matter what stage we're at) Congrats on your progress...The beach is near!

You know, I never really believed nor understood that "30 days hole" thing until it happened to me. There I was skating along fine on days 27, 28, 29, not even thinking about cigarettes and then WHAM.
Does the same thing happen at around 90 days?
I've been super stressed out about other things recently (which would be the case even if I were smoking) and I don't know if it's just that *stress* feeling (oh so much like those times when you are in between smokes and really need one) that is making me think of cigarettes more often or if there really is some surge up at 90 days or what.
I don't feel in any danger of blowing my quit but I have to say I find it really dang annoying to be thinking of cigarettes so often again all of a sudden!
Hopefully this goes away and soon.

You're doing beautifully!
