Hi all.I am new here and there's something i'm quite confused about.....
I started having panic attacks about 2 years ago,but i didn't know exactly what they were. They didn't happen often, maybe once every 2-3 months, and they really didn't bother me,all i had to do was leave wherever i was or run outside and get fresh air and i was fine.I just kinda laughed them off as freak happenings and even made jokes about them,as did my hubby and kids. However, about 3 weeks ago while in the doctor's office,i had one,he recognized what it was right away, and told me what it was.Now that i have been diagnosed, the panic attacks have been more frequent and it seems to be all i think and worry about and i experience anxiety over it nearly every day.WHY is this?Has anyone else experienced this?I feel like i was better off before i KNEW what was going on and before i started researching it and understanding what it is.Please help me understand what's going on,i feel like i'm going bonkers.
