Well I have been pretty good all week. On friday went over to the inlaws. Had 3 glasses of wine, knew my limit was coming up so I packed up, left hubby there and went home to take a bath. Woke up yeaterday with a major sore throat. Today I feel even worse...sore throat, stuffy nose, and just plain in a fog. The bright side I guess is that I had to walk away from all the guys smoking in the shop. It made me ill.

Keep up the good work. I got a little cold early in my quit, actually made a couple days really easy. I couldn't breathe....made it easy not to smoke. That was the first time that had happened, I used to smoke no matter what! I knew I was on my way.

Ramona, you are doing wonderful. I realized I can't be around smokers either. Even though I was one, it now makes me sick to my stomache, especially when I smell it on my hubby yuck!! Stay strong!!

Hi, Ramona. Congratulations on 5 smoke-free days. That is fantastic! :)
Good for you for knowing your limit and walking away when you needed to. Great strength and common sense, there. Sorry to hear you're under the weather now. It will pass. Probably quicker now that you're not aggravating the issue with smoke.
Keep up the great quit, Ramona. :)
Shevie
