Well...I'm afraid that I am much too late, having just finished watching a movie.
Well...clear, I'm afraid that you were right, you probably were experiencing growing pains. For whatever reason, most of us go through phases in our quit where the cravings become extremely strong (sometimes for days) Sometimes we recognize why (i.e. we are going through alot of stress) but sometimes they happen for no reason at all.
I think that the reason we post is to remind ourselves that this is a phase and that it will get better. In fact, I believe that I really struggled around the same time as you.
Ultimately, nobody can make us quit and nobody can make us stay quit. Our desire to quit has to be stronger than our desire to smoke.
For all others who are feeling this way, I believe the suggestion is to post, wait for 10 replies, and if you still feel like smoking...go ahead. In the past, I may have been one of the people who was reading a post sent by someone who was ready to cave. I may have been reading because I was feeling the same way and wanted to see the responses. Sometimes, if I am feeling discouraged, I either post or just read posts (and don't necessarilly try to give advice to others) At those times, I'm very thankful for the support that you all provide.
Take care, Clear...Hope you made a good decision.
