Very interesting and controversial approach to the thought process. I notice that several of the most successful quitters on this site employ the same or similar approach to their quits---without ever realizing that they are doing it. ie Ride the craves/embrace the pain. Observing and acknowledging thoughts without getting entangled in them. NOT trying to manipulate and change the way you think, but in changing your responses to them. Okay, Psych 101 over with.
