Hi, Niceguy. Progress is achieved one step at a time. Baby steps. Our free Panic Program will help you with that. For instance, in formulating your plan, clubs would not be the thing you aim for right away, but rather you'd begin at the starting point of going outside out of the house for short periods. That's the place to start. Don't look too far ahead. Take it in reasonable and realizable strides. The program will help you improve your situation. All the best.

Hi trish and thank you for responding i swear i was thinking that same thing how its not really going to the party or going to school it's that i'am afraid of having a panic attack and nowhere to run that is what really scares me so much i just hope that one day i can leave my house with out being afraid of what might happen. i just feel so emotional at times cause i cant really do anything that other people do like going to clubs,parties,and stuff like that i think my main fear is that when i get dizzy or light headed i feel i will faint. i have never fainted before but thats what i'am afraid of and also i would like to have an online buddy to help me out through certain times so if anyone would like to get back to me please get back at kool_king1280@yahoo.com......thanks for listening

Hi Raymond, Welcome!!! Panic attacks affect many people, at first when we do get them, we feed off the negative thoughts, but NO we are not being cursed or punished by God for past transgressions. If I were you, I would visit my doctor again, if you can find a therapist that works well with panic disorders the better, to explain, you are agoraphobic, thus preventing yourself from having attacks, because of the avoidance behavior we create for ourself. Its not that we are scared of a party, or saying flying on a plane, but the thought of what if...I have a panic attack while there, what will I do, I cant flee fast enough. You possibly need a medication adjustment, and need to start here and with a therapist on cognitive (changing the way we think-not feeding off the negative thoughts)therapy and exposure therapy, in baby steps. Please keep with us, and posting, we all have been there or going through the same things . Trish

Hi my name is raymond i'am 22 years old and i had experienced my first attack 3 years ago.I WANT TO start going to school again but sometimes i get too scared to even think about it and i want to start working also,but you know how that works out i haven't really had an attack but yet i haven't really step out of my house niether so can anyone please help me out and show me a gleam of hope i am currently taking xanax but yet i'am still afraid.Its like i did something so wrong in life that i have to be coursed for what i did and my x girlfriend that i love dearly is slowly fading from me cause i sometimes times dont want to go out in public for the fear of fainting i sometimes cry for everything that has gone wrong in my life that i just want everything to change for the better but yet i am always so doubtful so please can someone help me outthere......thank you for your time.
