cannot stop deep breathing

for 18 år siden 0 29 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
i am having the strangest reactions to none smoking. all of a sudden my body breaths deeply all the way to my back and to the pit of my stomach . it happens on a daily basis sometimes just a few times a day sometimes lots. its as though my body is emulating the breathing in of a cigarette . i find i have to have something to drink to stop it happening. i also get a tickle in my throat sometimes when i see on telly ex drug users , they exaggerate breathing in their nose that's what i feel is happening to me. has anyone else had this ?. Sounds like you may be having a little anxiety going on hon. If taking a sip of something to drink helps then do so. Also, breath slowly and it will pass :) Your body is always readjusting itself .. Congrats on your 65 smoke free days ! :) Monica58 My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 46 Amount Saved: $18 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 6 Mins: 15 Seconds: 51

Teen, Probably just adjusting to being able to take in bigger quantities of oxygen. It could also be related to anxiety, tension or stress. If it worsens or is accompanied by other symptoms, see your MD. Danielle ____________________ The SSC Support Team

teen, this happened to me as well, but I didn't find it an unpleasant feeling...it felt more like my lungs just were practicing their new capacity to hold air. It didn't last too long. If you are concerned, check with your doc.
