Hey Jan - I was driving through your city today on Queen Street...did you see me???
Congratulations on 7 days - Maybe you should just take those children home with you and then you would NEVER want to smoke!

Thanks everyone, I just love the support you give me. I was thinking of pulling out my knitting. My two beagles are supposed to have matching doggie coats and I've only knit one. Guess I better get started on the other one. Here I am actually worrying over getting Casey's coat knit before the weather gets really cold. How daft is that. But they will cute in their matching coats. I'll post a picture of them. Have a great day, guys. And Windy, Queen Street you say? I think that was you with the great big no smoking sign on your back window!!!! Cheers, Jan

From Monday to Friday I spend a couple of hours each day going to work. I work at a local school over the lunch period and for outside yard duty. During that couple of hours each day, I NEVER think about smoking. I love the kids and the time is pretty busy. That is one saving grace I never grow tired of. Now if the rest of the day could be like that. I know it will be...eventually. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Cheers, Jan

Hell week officially over! Wey HEY!!!
Glad to hear that the lovely children can help you take your mind off things. That's lovely. I'm sure you will get there this time, Jan. Things sound much more positive.

Just noticed your stats and hell week is officially over, eh? Since there was not much time between your quits, is this one not a bit easier or do you think it is harder? Just curious... Seemed to be easier for me...maybe because I knew what to expect and wasn't afraid of the 'unknown' like on my first quit. Congrats on those 7 days, Jan! I'm cheering for you! :)

Jan,
This is a great time to introduce something you love to do, at home! It can be a hobbie, activity or even as satisfying as cleaning and doing chores :)
Reward yourself for one week and let's make the rest of the day an enjoyable one!
Keep Strong,
Josie
