viola,
faithfreedom used Chantix the prescribed 12 weeks. She'll probably come in to let you know directly. From what she tells us, it's not bad.
But I'd like to add my 2 cents here if I may, about Chantix:
Of all the products I have used to quit...this one has been the best for me. The withdrawal was minimal so unlike other quits. the cravings are not like they normally would have been either (less intense...more manageable).
Until I actually get to the end of the 12 weeks..I'm just going with the flow. I feel like a Non-Smoker and am very happy with the results so far.
I quit cold-turkey in 1982 and it was the most horrible thing I believe I ever went through. I wouldn't want to ever go through the withdrawal, stressfull cravings, anxiety and depression again like that. It can be done though..for those of you brave-hearts out there or those who have no choice.
