Hey Mon, Everybody has pits they fall into, whether it's 30, 60 100 days or whatever. This is the point where you need to tell yourself how proud you are of what you've done. Time to do something really special for yourself, a Big treat, because you deserve it. Take a day off, bake a treat, but that pair of shoes! Everyone needs a little pat on the back and we can help, but you should also be really good to yourself! You and the only you that YOU have! mon... Stay in the moment... ALL quits are different. Distract yourself, read a book, go for a walk, a hot bath? Do you meditate? I am on the SSC messenger if you have it.... Stay close and do anything to make time pass... What about heading for bed? JUST DON'T SMOKE... oodlechick A repeat of what is being said. There is nothing wrong with you or your quit. Cravings, desires, junkie thoughts, addict stuff happens. Have your quitting strategy near and be ready to use every bit of strength to get yourself through. This will pass and you will come out the other side. Nothing wrong with you at all. All of our quits are different. Somewhere around day 58 I began to really feel my quit was something I could hold on to. For 3 or 4 days before that, I was ready to throw in the towell. Just remember that once you get through this you will be so much stronger and so much more prepared for the next issue that crosses your path. Who knows what brings on these feelings, just know that they will pass. Hang on tight. You are doing GREAT! Hi oddlechick, I had my glorious victory 2 days ago involving a concert and staying smoke free. I was soooooooooooo proud! Today, after dinner, I was ready to bum a cig from my roommate! Relaxing outside, a glass of wine; the junkie wants a reward around 60 days, I think, for not smoking for 2 months!!! "You haven't smoked in soooo long. You can have one and go right back to your quit". Well, I just verbalized the thought. I told my roommate and his buddy. "I feel like smoking right now" My roommate's friend said, "I thought that you didn't smoke" I said, "I don't" i went back in and chewed on a straw, started cleaning off my desk; and here I am posting! Bury those junkie thoughts. You are doing great. We can do it!
