I also think one of my problems with my meds is that i now that i am so worried about another bad reaction i think that i cause the anxiety. As soon as i try a new pill i start to worry about if i am going to have another bad reaction. This is why my dr. took me off of meds and i started therapy. So now i am afraid of every med....

Keeping a sleep diary is a smart idea. You can take it to your next doctor's visit. When meds don't agree with you, let your doctor know and ask if something else can be prescribed. Sometimes another medication might be found that's intended to do the same thing, and might be easier on you. There are more choices out there for your doctor now. One experience does not mean that all meds will have the same effect. Sometimes you have to try a couple before the right combination is found.

i have started the program and i am also in my 5th week of CBT with my therapist along with that i see my psychiatrist every six weeks to see how my therapy is going. My dr. did prescribe some trazodonthe only problem is, before i started therapy i tried taking meds. i had really bad experiences with the meds. they made me way more nervous than i was to begin with so now i am terrified to take anymore meds. Also the trazodone carried over the next day and i hate that drugged feeling. one of my worst fears is being out of control so when they give me a medication that makes me feel that way i am really uncomfortable...my sleep is like a really shallow sleep and maybe i need to keep a sleep diary to see how much sleep i am truly loosing...any advice..

Yes, a lack of proper sleep disturbs everything. Have you begun the Panic program? If you haven't, I recommend you do so, in order to learn to deal with your anxiety. Perhaps you should discuss your sleep issue with your doctor too.

lately i have been having a hard time sleeping. It is not insomnia really. i can go to sleep but i wake up several times a night and i don't feel rested in the morning. It almost feels like i don't ever get into a deep sleep. I was wondering if being tired alot can make you more anxious because the less i fell rested the more i am anxious.. :confuse:
