two weeks already means that it will start getting better soon. You have to be strong. And working out really helps! Depressions goes away in a sec. And if you want to cry...cry...it's not bad. But get up,go out for a walk,go to yoga classes..meet people..talk...take care of yourself. if you come here...you'll find candies everywhere...all kind of things...in these last weeks i've bought all the sugar free products i could find!!! stay around hugs My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/3/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 242 Amount Saved: 67.2 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 17 Mins: 18 Seconds: 47

thanks everyone, Wow, this journey to being smoke free is quite the experience. I am so looking forward to feeling comfortable without nicotine. Now, I almost always feel like something is missing, like I should be doing something that I'm not doing, like I need something that I don't have. It drives me nuts at times (like the last 3 days). At least I do feel comfortable with the fact that I will not smoke no matter how I feel. Have an easy smoke free day everyone. I've been off of the lozenges for about 2 weeks now. Yesterday and the day before were the first really uncomfortable days that I've had. I was very depressed and wanted to smoke all day...but, I did'nt. I do not want to give up this non smoking lifestyle. I went to yoga one night and then to aerobics yesterday morning to try and help the depression. The cravings have been the worst they have been in a while. That empty feeling is back, I've been crying (or felt like crying), and I am craving sweets. I have never been a sweets person. Still chewing the heck out of those straws. I find chewed straws all over the house! Heres to a better day tommorrow. ex, Hang in there! Check with you doctor to come up with a plan to help you through. By using your coping mechanisms, they will help you through some of those bad craves. Avoid situations that tempt you and take some time to relax. Post often and let us help you! You can do this! Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
