I just want to thank every one for there repleys. It has been very helpful. My friend gave me a book she had to read and I have been reading it. Again thank you.
From what I can understand, there is a part of the brain that is lacking in ceritonin(?) which causes a missfiring of neutrons from one area to the other. The meds that are given are part of the treatment to increase and level this firing. I may not have the words right, but from what I have learned, that is one of the problems and causes of PAs and other related problems. A good Doctor, whatever type, that is well read on the subject will prescribe what is best for each person he treats with a little side effects or addictiveness to that med. They always have tyo be balanced for each person because everyone's make-up is different. Took me and Doc and phsyciatrist over a year to get a balance that works for me. Some meds have a very long afterlife, which means they stay ion the bvody for a long period of time before clearing. It depends on each one's own makeup to level these things. Then, some people can wake up and never have another PA. Others have them all their life. There are also many treatments for phobia's, which work very well, but it depends on the person willing to face these phobia's and rid them from their lives. Hope this helps someone, and maybe someone in the on-line help can explain better than I insofar as what I'm trying to get accross. LUV, SUZY.

Hi I don't have PA but I do have a very good friend who does and I all so work with some one that does. The reason I have come here is to get a better understanding of what PA is. From what I have read and what I have learned about some of the medication. I owe them appology for the way I have acted in the past. I truly what to understand what they are dealing with. I hope those of you don't mind me being here.http://www.paniccenter.net/images/nav-4res-4anxietytest_on.jpg
