Gammy... You've gotten great advice here. I echo Iwin. You are in control not the addiction. It is hard when we are alone especially early in the quit. The junkie thinking tells you that no one will know. I always answered that with a "I will know" reply. Enjoy your time alone. Take in a movie, a nice bubble bath, or perhaps give yourself a manicure, or read a good book. Occupy yourself with something you enjoy. Think about it, do you really want to go back to square one? I think not. It's all about choice. Have a great weekend and remember NO SMOKING ALLOWED! Time to haul out the old list of reasons for quitting. If you have just one thing on that list -- the "incentive" who's gone for the weekend -- then I guess you might have a problem. But I suspect if you really take a hard look at the truth, you'll find a few more. You can do it...look how far you've come! you can't let another person be the only 'incentive' for not smoking. that;'s like hanging your quit on someone elses actions? The real incentive has to be within YOU.....an additional reward is that it also pleases the 'other' Make your quit for yourSELF. all the ways you want to please someone "else"? can be turned into reasons you want to please your "SELF".
