Hi Luci-Lou, 21 days is often a tricky time in a quit. You are all geared up for Hell Week, Heck, Weak, then as the third week comes to an end, tiredness sets in....it all just seems so hard! It is at this time you just have to hang on in there. You did the right thing coming here and venting....it usually helps a bit. In a few days you will ride that roller coaster upwards again. Just remember that the lows become less and the highs longer as time goes on. At 6 weeks, you should begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel glimmering in the distance. Do keep fighting....it is so worth it! WHATEVER IT TAKES, JUST DON'T SMOKE!!! Lolly. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/25/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 414 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 14,513 Amount Saved: 2070 Life Gained: Days: 57 Hrs: 16 Mins: 41 Seconds: 55

Luci, Shake it off! There will be those tough days and still more to come. Use your coping mechanisms and avoid situations that will gear you up. Distracting yourself will keep you from reacting to the moment and keep your sane. Activities, chores, and exercise will motivate you and keep you strong. Three weeks is amazing so reward yourself for getting to this point. Hope this helps, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
