Hi Girls! (and boys).
Well, I'm still here. : ) I went to see a Psychologist last week. I have bi-weekly appts. with her to go through a few things - also seeing a psych in her practice to go over my Rx's. I am still on the generic. I will wait to see the Dr. to find out what she thinks. I feel ok. And have for the last couple of days, but I'm sure I'll come crashing down any day now. How's that for positive thinking?
The psych seems to think that this may be hormone/thyroid related. I have been diagnosed with PCOS in the last year, but have not had it treated. (Poly cystic ovarian Syndrome). My hormone levels are OFF and my thyroid isn't working properly. She said that depression is the biggest sign in both the hormone and thyroid problems. So, I have an appt. with my OB/GYN to have those both checked in the next two weeks. That could be a big part of the reason that I suddenly snap for NO reason at all. I do have some anger and depression that relates back to my life, but my life is good now, I should be able to move on. (I'm trying). I'm anxious to see the Dr. to find out what my hormone and thyroid levels are at. WOuldn't that be amazing if we got those in working order and my depression faded. I'm pretty excited! She was really nice and offered some good advice. I will keep seeing her as see-fit. Good thing for insurance!!
Hope you're all doing well! Keep me posted - as I love reading what ya'll write. Keeps me on my toes and helps knowing that I'm not the only one out there suffering!!
:) Patti
