Today is 30 days. I mean a real 30 days. I have quit before, but slipped, cheated.. I found this site. and the N.O.P.E. really hit home for me.
I hat admit to myslef.. that I am/could be one puff away.. from a pack a day. In some ways this kind of reminds me of the potato chip commercial... "betcha can't eat just one" I think the roller coaster of emotions is settling down a bit.
I have some "trial by fire" this last 30 days, and I have come out on top.
John will home tomorrow, I will greet him, not reeking of cigarettes. His birthday is Saturday.
I went to Office Max today for some supplies, I saw a really nice Executive Binder/notebook typr thing. It has a clock that can be set to ding .. for meetings/reminders and a calculator built in. The inside pocket is like a minature document tray to keep proposals or documents nicely. it has a calendar, address book and the back a legal pad. (I also had a 15.00 off coupon.. woo hoo) and they had a nice Cross pen and pencil set on sale 1/2 price.
In a little while I am going to sit and put in the business cards and fill in some of the address book.. that I can. ( I copied his most called numbers today). So my reward... is finding and buying his b day presents...
I can't believe it has been 30 days....
