Great attitude Gregor! Glad to hear all is going well - just keep hanging touch. We have the downs but the ups are fabulous and confirm that we truly are NON-SMOKERS! Whatever is working for you (regardless of the method) just keep it going! Bravo, Greger! I'm glad to hear your first day smokefree back at work went so well. It looks like you're on a roll. Keep up the good work. You're getting the time behind you now. Greger you could add another $1.50-1.75 to your daily costs then...it's fun to watch those dollars add up. On the method...you can describe it in general terms, but not the specific product....hmm..altho we can name chantix and welbutrin. If it's a book, i believe you can mention the author, but not the title...tho it seems like at different times Ive seen both. just maybe not together...and never on a Monday ;p Whatever you're doing, I'd like to know because no craves is fantastic! There are pretty awful craves, they just aren't for tobacco. THere's no way I'd put one of those things in my mouth. Danielle deleted the name of the method I am using from my first post so I assume it is not up for discussion here. At any rate it is working marvelously for me. And yes, children, Greger plans to live a long and wonderful life free from addiction and the stink and stigma of tobacco. What the little counter doesn't count is that I have now not dipped one can of Skoal and saved an additional 6 bucks or so. They usually lasted about 3-4 days. Greger What a wonderful story! I think you should start a thread called Greger's Quitside Stories. And they could all end...And Greger lived happily smokefree forever. lol..on the bread butter pcikles. MMMMM.......tastes!!!!! I fell back in love with peanut butter early in my quit. Not to mention fudgsicles, creamsicles and sorbet...dang! stop, aloha, stop!!! There's another new quitter named Pol who is also a mircale quitter like you so far...no craves so s/he says. Hmmmm........what are you guys drinking, btw? I can't wait for tomorrow's edition -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 151 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,040 Amount Saved: $1,026.80 Life Gained: Days: 21 Hrs: 3 Mins: 41 Seconds: 53

There seems to be a conspiracy of sorts to make this easy for me. When I got to work this morning my clipboards were empty, the shop help had been sent away and there was just enough work scheduled to keep one man busy all day. They left me 2 donuts beside the coffeepot and I had a rather blissful morning nursing those donuts along. The afternoon was a little harder, absolutely no craving for a smoke or a dip but still a niggling need for something to chew, to eat, to suck on. Around 3 o'clock I had a mad and passionate love affair with some bread and butter pickles someone left in the fridge. Either everyone is scared to death to be anywhere near me or they are trying hard to help me out by making my life at this stage of the quit as easy as possible for me. If I can just get these first few weeks behind me I know I will be free forever from this nasty and disgusting addiction.
