Congrats Angelcapp on your 1 month. Great accomplishment! I hope to make it the 15th. I am determined more than ever. It is so good to be free every day from Cigs. I see now how much time was spent on smoking a cig. I get out the door a lot quicker & don't worry about smelling like smoke all the time. Yeahhhh to us March Mellows.

Okay Rosies Friend, buying a lighter had to hurt! I can't guess the number of lighters I've bought in the past 20 years. I lit a candle last night and just lighting the lighter was a new experience, hadn't used one in a few (3 to be exact) weeks.
Part of the meter should include a lighter puchase, once a week, add that to all the money the March Mellows are saving!
Stacy,
It is funy the habits we have, everytime I go to leave the house I reach into the pocket of my purse (the cig and lighter pocket) to make sure that they are there, old habit! Now I have hard candy and gum in the pocket. I had gotten rid of all cigarettes & lighters, then discovered that I didn't have anything to light candles with and had to go buy a lighter!

Congratualtions March Mellows, you QUITTERS! Bring on April, we lived through March. Imagine a Spring with sunny days, clear lungs and long walks... you can actually smell the flowers.
It's funny, I was getting ready to go out yesterday and realized it takes so much less time. Don't have to find the pack, locate a lighter and make sure it works. I'm out of the house in record time.
Hang in there!!

Welcome Rosie's friend! Congratulations on your first week.
I agree with you. The humor did help me. Of course, this is a serious thing, this quitting smoking, but after a week or so of being so diligent and going thru so many ups & downs, a good
laugh was oh so welcome and appreciated.
Welcome to the March Mellows, we are a great bunch of quitters! :p

Ya'll have been great with support, tips and a little humor, which humor may just be the most important!
One week down and the rest of my life to live as a nonsmoker! Yeah!
