I went cold turkey too! Here is my advice - keep your eye on the goal...do you want to be a non-smoker? Then do some deep breathing excercises, drink lots of water, suck on hard candy, do whatever you have decided to do to replace smoking.
Every hour that you don't smoke pat yourself on the back. Soon it will be days, then weeks, then months. It does get easier, some days it is harder, but just keep going.
You have put your body through heck for a long time, it will take time to get over it! But the good news is that you ARE doing it!
